The Old Rectory

 The Old Rectory is an historic Grade 2 building with parts dating back to the 17th century . More recently it was re-designed by Sir George Gilbert Scott the renowned architect who was also responsible for the Albert Memorial and the Midland Grand Hotel (now known as the St Pancras Hotel).

 The generous downstairs space has a large kitchen diner with aga (winter months only) and many appliances including american fridge freezer with ice maker, Nespresso style coffee machine, Dishwasher, Echo dot and bluetooth speaker. There is a comfortable adjoining 'snug' with Smart TV, comfy seating and a small wood burning stove. Off the kitchen is a sizable family dining room that seats 10 with magnificent views across the lawn to the moors.  Also accessible from the kitchen is  private side garden with BBQ , seating area  and firepit.  Back from the kitchen is a boot room for coats and bags as well as the downstairs toilet and sink. There is also access through the boot room to the shared laundry room with washing machine, tumble dryer and drying racks. To the front of the house off the main hallway is the sitting room 2 large sofas and is equipped with a Smart TV and DVD player.

Up the staircase to the mid level double bedroom with a zip and link bed (which can be set up as a Superking bed or 2  singles).  Next to this is the family bathroom with toilet, bath and separate shower. On the top floor is the large main bedroom with a superking sleigh bed which then leads to the ensuite bathoom with wc, roll top bath and separate shower. Next the main bedroom is the twin bunk room and next to this the spacious fourth bedroom with a king sized bed.

• For larger groups The Curates wing  (sleeps 4)  has connecting door which allows both properties to accommdate a total of 12
